It’s been a busy year for INDOCHINO, the global leader in made to measure apparel. After dressing 25% of the 2020 NBA Draft Class including athletes like James Wiseman, Obi Toppin, and Onyeka Okongwu, the Canadian-made apparel brand partnered with Nordstrom to open 21 custom apparel shop in shops and was selected by NBC to serve as the in-studio wardrobe provider for its production of the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Prior to the 2021 NFL Draft, INDOCHINO also had the opportunity to work with the consensus #1 draft pick, Trevor Lawrence, and played a substantial role in outfitting him for two of the biggest days of his life: the NFL Draft and his wedding.
Building off this momentum that the company established in professional football, INDOCHINO has announced that they are now a Proud Partner of the Los Angeles Rams for the 2021 season. For its first partnership with an NFL team, INDOCHINO will design outfits and provide suits for various members of the Rams organization, while providing opportunities to personalize their garments.
The Sponsorship Space had the chance to connect with INDOCHINO’s Vice President of Operations & Partnerships, Aly Habib, about this new development for their business.
“This is our first ever official partnership with an NFL team, coming off our exciting collaboration with the NFL’s 2021 #1 draft pick, Trevor Lawrence, and as a wardrobe provider for NBC’s Football Night In America. The fact that it’s in one of our most prominent markets (southern California) makes it all the more special,” said Habib.
Whether it's a player, coach, or other staff member, one of the goals of this partnership is to bring the premium made to measure experience directly to the Rams’ locker room.
“Partnerships are all about great relationships and the LA Rams are an organization that has supported INDOCHINO as customers and friends over the years - we couldn’t be more excited to be an official Proud Partner of the team,” Aly tells us.
In addition to the services that will be offered to the Rams organization, INDOCHINO also has several plans to engage the team’s fan base through multiple activations that capitalize on key moments throughout the NFL season. With a focus on digital and social activation, a number of Rams players will be featured across social platforms on select game days suited top-to-bottom in INDOCHINO apparel.
The Rams will also produce an inside look video segment on the fitting and customization process that goes into building a one-of-a-kind INDOCHINO garment for players, as well as collaborate on exciting campaigns that are in the INDOCHINO pipeline such as their upcoming Black Friday promotion.
Another initiative will have the Rams and INDOCHINO collaborating at the community level to provide a select group of local high school and college students with the chance to suit up for a professional future.
With this new partnership, INDOCHINO is joining forces with an NFL team residing in one of the most passionate, vibrant, and cultural sports and entertainment markets in the world. This coming-together of two iconic brands is a case study on relationship-building and authenticity.
INDOCHINO continues to operate at the intersection of professional sports and fashion to tell their brand story and engage a diverse audience in a meaningful way. They’ve been on an upward trajectory for several years, and something tells us this is just the beginning.
